I believe that developing ideas through the language of creativity is one of the most wonderful things an artist can experience. The transformation of a concept into an image is the way in which my essence is portrayed. The Andean surrealism, the mysticism and the indigenous worldview are constant factors that have marked my documentary photography. Ideas for personal projects are born directly from my dreams and guts. I am also also passionate about product and food photography, disciplines I works with in the advertising industry. The premise is the same, born from my guts, from my purest state of mind. These are stories produced by an internal monologue, where silence, effectively, is the loudest sound.

It was wonderful to be a small part of Love is Project. Love is the anchor of everything and it is amazing to see how Chrissie transmits love and joy through the way she is. I loved being able to take photographies of the woman who are behind the bracelets. It was a unique experience where I got to see a tiny bit of a day in their lives. How they laugh, how they make jokes, how they support each other, how they work and specially how they opened and welcomed us into their lives. I went back to Quito with a huge smile on my face!
