From the March Edition of "The O List"
Each bracelet is made manually by hand. The story of each product begins as a flip-flop on someones feet, then its thrown out and ends up in the ocean. The flip flops are collected, cleaned, compressed and assembled into bracelets revived again with love. Through the process, oceans are cleaned, jobs are provided, masterpieces are made, and in the end, you get something truly special and unique.
We are happy to partner with Ocean Sole, an enterprise that positively impacts over a 1,000 Kenyans through the collection of flip-flops and direct employment. They provide steady income to nearly 100 low-income Kenyans in our company. They aim to recycle a million flip flops year, recycle over one tonne of styrofoam a month, and save over five hundred trees a year - by using flip flops instead of wood.
