In true Love Is Project tradition, we were incredibly inspired by Colombia’s history, culture, and people. Our Colombia Collection features our first ever bag line. These unique, technicolor dream bags hail from San Jacinto, Colombia, renowned for its rich history of artisanal textile design and production. They’re handmade from woven straw (traditionally found in sombreros) and upcycled fabrics, meaning each one of these vibrant bags is 100% unique.
We took our inspiration for these bags from the colorful Colombian tropics—and the wonderful artisans who helped to design them. Each clutch purchase helps to create jobs for women displaced by socio-political conflict in the Marias Mountains.
