Love Is Project is committed to treating our artisans the way we want to be treated. We interviewed our artisans about how these jobs had changed their lives, and they shared what mattered most to them:

“Before working in this workshop with Love Is Project, I didn't work and was dependent on my ex husband. Now that I work here, there have been a lot of changes. I feel more independent and empowered. I know that now I can move forward and give my kids what they need without depending on a man. I think it is very beneficial for women to work with Love Is Project so they can be independent. We hope that our work is valued in other countries because we do it with love, dedication, and our own hands.” —Maricela, Ecuador
Right now, our network supports 2,187 artisans, and that number is constantly growing. We're committed to using our success and paying it forward to create more jobs, expand our ethical supply chain, and continue to showcase the talents of artists across the map.

Here at Love Is Project, we have a lot of LOVE to give, and we can’t think of any better way to share that LOVE than by donating to the charities that are near and dear to our hearts.
It Gets Better Project
We’re committed to sharing LOVE stories from around the world, and we found a perfect partner in that mission in the It Gets Better Project. It Gets Better has collected the stories of over 70,000 LGBTQ+ individuals and shared them with the world as a message of hope. They work to support LGBTQ+ youth around the world and make sure that they can access the resources they need to feel safe, supported, and loved. We’ve been proud to support their work for years, and continue to donate 10% of the proceeds of our Rainbow Love Bracelet to their mission.

National Breast Cancer Foundation
AAs much as we support female entrepreneurship and careers, there’s another aspect of life that we find just as important: health and self-care. It’s our mission to not just provide economic opportunities to women across the world, but to provide the kind of economic opportunities that come with health care, paid time off, and other benefits to ensure the wellness of our artisans and their families.
We’re proud to partner with the National Breast Cancer Research Foundation, and donate 5% of net profits from our Pretty in Pink bracelets every October to further their mission of providing help and hope to those affected by breast cancer.

Black Lives Matter and NAACP
We firmly believe that black lives matter. Our mission is built on LOVE, and racism has no home here. We put our money where our mouth was in 2020 and donated 10% of the net profits of our Kenya LOVE Bracelet Black/Gold to Black Lives Matterand the NAACP to support racial justice and education.

The Green School
The founding Green School is an eco-focused school without walls nestled among the bamboo forests of Bali, Indonesia, and they are committed to educating children to become the ecological leaders of tomorrow. The Green School looked at the local needs of their community in Bali, and they founded The Astungkara Way in response—a project determined to help preserve the traditional farming methods of an aging population of Balinese farmers. 70% of the farmers in Bali are over the age of 60, and they hope to encourage Indonesian youth to carry on this work by offering education in sustainable farming practices.
In partnership with Claudie Pierlot and their CLAUDIE CARES initiative, we have pledged to donate 100% of the profits from our our Original Red LOVE bracelet, our white and gold Seed Bead LOVE Bracelet, and our Unity Pink and Yellow Beaded Braceletto The Green School. Additionally, we earmarked $10,000 specifically for scholarships for The Astungkara Way to ensure that Indonesian children have all the resources they need to engage with their roots and secure their future.

I believe LOVE is passion for what you do. Love Is Project is truly a labor of LOVE. Between my mother, Gladys, and myself, we singlehandedly run this organization full-time. We are the definition of a scrappy, big-hearted start-up always looking to meet the moment and jump in to help where we can. Powered by LOVE and a tribe of collaborators, mentors, friends, and a worldwide support system, Love Is Project exists. ♥
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your support!
