Our newest Flores collection hails from the lush jungles and stunning beaches of Flores, Indonesia. Magnificent volcanoes jut out of the landscape of this small island, and slope down to sparkling blue water perfect for snorkeling or diving.
It’s natural that a place with such a stunning landscape would attract tourists, but Na’Ni House is working to make sure that local traditions aren’t lost in the process. Their mission is to preserve Siika Regency culture, build an economy that works sustainably with local resources, and to encourage creativity. They accomplish this ambitious mission by working with local artisans to produce beautiful ikat weaving, in keeping with traditional craftsmanship practices.
Na’Ni House’s goals epitomize everything Love is Project stands for, and we’re so proud to be working with them on the Flores collection. Each bracelet is woven and dyed using natural materials.
