Running for LOVE!

If we know anything, it’s that life (and love and running a business) is a marathon, not a sprint. What better way to show our appreciation for the long-haul goals, and all the supporters, artisans, and friends who have been instrumental in reaching them, than to sponsor an actual marathon?!

That’s what we’re doing! Love Is Project is a proud sponsor of the 20th Anniversary Marathon in Lewa, Kenya. All the runners will be sporting LOVE bracelets as they make it through the long journey—all the way to that glorious moment they cross the finish line.

This marathon also brings attention to an important cause. The challenges facing the people and wildlife in Africa are greater than ever, with a rapidly rising extinction rate (up to 10,000 times faster than the natural extinction rate), caused almost entirely by human activity.
