I’m an Aries, born in Italy. I always felt like travelling and was never afraid to discover new worlds. Photography came into my life when I was 16, but I didn’t realize it. I was too busy thinking about jazz music, which was my first real love.
Then I studied economics and worked in finance. When I moved to New York 12 years ago, I started to feel the urge to take photographs of jazz scenes. It came like lightning. I never had a previous interest in photography. There was no Instagram and very few iPhones, so it was a great time to take pictures. I decided to quit my nine-to-five job, which felt like a cage.
I moved back to Milan and started working in photography. I tried everything I could, but somehow I ended up really liking interior stories and shooting people in a very natural way.
When I moved to Bali five years ago, I discovered a whole new world and fell in love with the eccentric architecture.
I met Chrissie while in Bali. She liked my natural style and we did some amazing shoots together. We made a huge mess every time, playing with colors, flowers, powders and fake ice. It always turned out well. My work outside of Love is Project is mostly around interiors and stories about interesting people.
